Benefits for Wholesale Clients

Protections not applicable
- Wholesale clients do not enjoy negative balance protection. Should their trading positions move their trading account into a negative balance, the position will not be closed out as it is for retail clients. Therefore wholesale investors are liable for any losses incurred as a result of a margin close out and losses can exceed deposits.
- Wholesale clients no longer enjoy the protections afforded Retail clients under AFCA, and they may not receive retail disclosure or offer documents.
