Why are the close prices in Positions and Product overview/Charts different?

When the market is closed, it is possible to see a difference in close prices shown in the different platform modules.

The 'Close Price' in the Positions module is the last traded from the main exchange session. The 'Last Traded' that can be found in the product overview, trade ticket, screener and watchlist shows the last price including closing auctions uncrossing from the previous day. The 'Last Traded' may show theoretical uncrossing prices* from auctions for stocks listed either on:

  • Euronext markets
  • Deutsche Börse
  • London Stock Exchange
  • Nasdaq OMX (Copenhagen, Helsinki)
  • Australian Securities Exchange

The last traded price from Product Overview must be considered when you trade.

Please note that more exchanges may be added to this list in the future.

*An uncrossing price is the price at which an auction in a financial market is settled. It is the price that matches the highest volume of buy and sell orders in the auction.
