Why is charting unavailable for an instrument?

Totality does not provide chart data for particular instruments, for example - bonds.

Certain cash indices require a subscription in order to see the chart.

If you open an index chart and you see the message Chart is not available for this instrument it means that the chart requires a subscription.

Examples of index charts that require a subscription are: S&P 500 Index, CBOE Volatility Index & Dow Jones Industrial Average Index.
